NEW! NEW! NEW!

Wow, Stampin' Up! continues to amaze me. Each year (I've been with SU! over 10 years now) keeps getting better and better. I know you probably tire of hearing this, but I'm very excited to announce that our next Occassions Mini is introducing some FABULOUS new products!

How about Clear Mount Stamps?? What does this mean? Well, for years, many Demos and Customers have wanted clear stamps for multiple reasons. It's easier for stamp placement, easier for storage and just plain cool. SU! had not followed this trend for a very good reason; the acrylic/clear stamps simply do not have the stamped quality of rubber mounted stamps. Well, SU! has done it again. They have developed a rubber-mounted stamp (which gives superior stamping images)that applies to a clear block. They are stored in DVD style cases and they ROCK! I haven't been able to do a little video on them, (I'm still having equipment challenges), but if you want to see what they look like and how they work, let me know and I'll send you a link to a video a friend of mine did.

New Punch Style! They close shut, are low profile and take up a lot less storage room. YES! If you want to see them in person, let me know. You will love, love, love them!

Awesome New Papers...I'm not sure which ones I love best!

While I can't share the Occassions Mini with you yet because of SU! restriction, trust me that you will want to see one and you will want many things contained it it.

Also, the Occassions Mini debuts at the same time as Sale-A-Bration! For those of you who don't know what Sale-A-Bration is (SAB)....in two words it's "FREE PRODUCT!" For every $50 you spend on stamps and accessories from Jan 5 - March 31, you get to choose from free stamp sets. This year, not only can you choose from stamp sets, but there is a wonderful new punch, papers and you can even choose some items from our 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog!

This is a GREAT time to book a workshop with me and get lots of FREE HOSTESS product and FREE SAB products too! I have limited space available, so call me as soon as possible. If you want to host a workshop at my house, we can do that too.

Have I said that SU! ROCKS!

Looking forward to stamping and scrapping with you in the near future!
Stampinly,
Randee

WOWZA! Lots of great news...please read it all!

I just returned home from the annual Stampin' Up! convention and all I can say is, "WOWZA!" I am so excited about all the new product and offerings.

My favorite is "My Digital Studio." This product is coming soon and is the best, easiest to use I have seen out there so far. I'm very excited about this. I have spent the last couple years playing with digital scrapping and various software offerings out there. I can save you lots of time and money when I say this truly will be AMAZING! In addition to hundreds of templates, accessories, papers, stamps, etc that will already come imbedded in the software product, you will have the opportunity to add additional components as they become available from SU! What I love the best is that SU! has worked with vendors to ensure exact color matching on our exclusive colors so that you can create hybrid pages and cards. How cool is that? This is really big! Of course, you can always do your own printing or send it to another online service, but our prices are great! You will be able to create and print various sized albums/books, single pages and/or send a digital scrapbook (video included) to friends and family! I would love to share this with you, so please let me know if you are interested in Digital Scapping. I'd love to share it with you. By the way, I finally settled on the difficult to learn, hard to use Photoshop Elements for my scrapping and photo editing and I'm happy to tell you that the "My Digital Studio" has the same features and abilities without the difficult to learn software.

My next favorite is the "Build-A-Bear" product line. Oh my goodness! Stampin' Up! has partnered with Build-A-Bear and do we have some fun, fun stuff for you! Not only do we have exclusive stamp sets and papers created for our Build-A-Bear product line, but we have exclusive die cuts for our Big Shot machine! Now you can create your own Build-A-Bear experience in your own home!

Have you ever considering becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator...either to purchase your own product or to earn a little extra income? Now is the time to do it! Until August 31, you can purchase your own SU! mini starter kit for only $85! (Here is what is included in the kit and can be customized.) As a demonstrator, you not only can make a nice income, but you can purchase product at a 20-40% discount. You can also earn hostess benefits (more FREE product) on your own orders, along with qualifying for tons of other freebies. In addition to this, you will have access to all SU! materials, the website, tons of great ideas and you can choose to go to CONVENTION, the most AWESOME experience! You make wonderful new friends and it's just FUN, FUN, FUN! There is so much more to tell you, so please call or email me for more information or visit my SU! website. If you sign up with me as a new demonstrator on or before August 31st, you will also receive an additional $25 in product from me to get you started!

HOSTESS, HOSTESS....Stampin' Up! has terrific hostess benefits and they have just made it even sweeter! Hostess a workshop between September 1 and November 30th, and in addition to earning all the wonderful hostess benefits and free Idea Book and Catalog, you can also qualify to purchase any one item (excluding My Digital Studio or Hostess Sets) for $10. So, if we have a $42 item, you can purchase it for only $10....plus get all your free hostess gifts! Hosting a workshop is great fun and now, with my "Pick two" style workshop, you get to customize your workshop experience. Your friends will thank you for inviting them! We always have a blast, and as my hostess, I promise to pamper and spoil you with all sorts of fun and treats! All you have to do is invite your friends and provide a simple, easy finger food. I'll do the rest for you!

I am in the process of updating my calendar with workshops, classes, stamp camps and just "come stamp with me" crafternoons or evenings, so please let me know if you are interested so I can ensure you know my event dates! I am back in business after a few years of tending to a husband who broke his neck and back and I'm here to stay! (Yes, he is doing better after his last surgery.)

Whether you want to purchase product, become a demonstrator (for the discount or a business), want to hostess a fun-filled workshop or come play with me, let me know. I can't wait to see you!

Hugs,
Randee

Summer FUN!

It's here! The new 2009/2010 Idea Book and Catalog and it's amazing! Just the new Dies alone are going to cost me a pretty penny! And the new ribbons, papers, stamp sets....I guess every year I have a huge wishlist, but it does seem to get better and better!

In addition, Stampin' Up! just announced the "Deal of the Week!" Every week in July, a new product will be featured at a great discount. The best way to keep updated is to subscribe to my blog. I promise not to inundate you with updates, but you will be glad you subscribed!

You can click on the sidebar pictures to access the new Catalog and Deals!

Happy Stamping,

Another Birthday....another project!

So, people at work keep having birthdays and I keep having to come up with gifts for them! I've been wanting to create a Birthday Card Box for a few years now, so decided this would be the perfect time to do so.

I used a soon-to-be-retired Simply Scrappin' kit - Sunshine Garden. I just love this kit and hate to see it go! All supplies are SU! except for buttons and jewels.

Here's the outside of the box with the matching card:

If anyone knows a good way to make a template of these containers, please let me know. This was a bugger to get just right!

I then created 12 dividers (one for each month). I didn't take pictures of the back of the dividers, but there it's printed with a fill-in format for dates and names of the birthday people in that month.

And here is July - December:

If any of my two (hee hee) faithful readers would like to do a similar class project, let me know. I'd be delighted to create a class for us! We could do the birthday box as one class and then have several more classes to fill in the dates with cards!

Photo Album in a Box

So, I am trying to use up retired SU! items and other products that have been sitting around. These box photo albums were quite the rage a couple years ago. I always wanted to make one, but never got around to it. I had an unused Simply Scrappin' kit, which I used exclusively to make the box. (Just so you know, making this box still leaves a ton of product for other projects if you like the Simply Scrappin' kits.)

A little background info on me. I was scrappin' when scrappin' wasn't cool. (Sounds like an old Barbara Mandrell song, doesn't it?) I used to crop, journal and scrap before I had even heard of those terms! My first scrapbook album was made back in the late 70's when I was still in high school. Don't grab your calculator.....I admit to being somewhere in my 40's :0(

Having taught scrapping and crafts for over 10 years, you'd think I would actually have scrapbooks of my kids (my oldest just turned 20!), but alas, not one of them has a completed scrapbook. Working full time, having a "gentleman's farm", traveling a lot and three children just hasn't been condusive to getting scrapbooks done. Besides, I find that I enjoy papercrafting and other things more these days. That's not to say you won't see some traditional scrapping in these posts in the future!

So, a long winded way of posting my photo box, but here it is! I think I'll give it to my Father-in-law for Father's Day. Sorry about the quality of the pics. I need to make a photo box and set up a better area for pics, but until then, they will be pretty cheesy.

Outside of the box and the sides.

Repurposed Starbucks

Okay, how many of you love Frappuccinos? I do, but it's so hard to justify the expense.....unless you need them for a craft project! This is for you, Kristine. I needed a birthday gift for a co-worker. She always likes the little cards or projects I bring into work, so I thought she might like this. I used mostly Stampin' Up! products on this. She loved it and I had a great time making it.

These aren't the best pictures because I didn't really take them with blogging in mind, but you get the idea! I filled one bottle with Hersey's mini candy bars, another bottle with kisses and the other two with bath salts.

Here is the actual container that I repurposed, along with the gift bag.

I created a pattern for covering the Frappuccino holder. I'm working on scanning them in, so if you would like them emailed to you, let me know and as soon as I have them scanned, I'll send them to you.

Happy Crafting!
